16.02.2009 MBA Channel - TU Munich focuses on Executive Education (in German)
Finally the Technische Universität München (TUM - Technical University of Munich) plans to establish a center for Executive Education, in cooperation with a European business school. So far, the TUM offered the »Executive MBA in Communication and Leadership« since 2003 and the »Executive Program for Innovation and Business Creation (MBA)« started in 2008 together with its start-up and innovations center UnternehmerTUM and the Handelshochschule Leipzig.

Career in SME by new MBA programs
A current survey among 680 personnel managers made by the »Bundesverband Deutscher Unternehmensberater BDU e.V.« shows that a German university degree combined with a MBA are the most promising career boosters for positions in the top-management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). The new MBA programs cope with the special requirements of the medium-sized economy: most of them are offered part-time such as the Executive Program in Innovation and Business Creation of the Technische Universität München.
